Wow. Didn’t see this one coming?
So, I’ve got Kanye on my side politically and Shia LaBeouf on my side religiously. I’m either doing something really right or really wrong. All I can say to Shia is…welcome home.
Taylor Marshall has the story. I mean, it’s kinda’ everywhere but he’s chatting it up a lot so…

Is it just Mandela Effect or didn’t he convert to Catholicism a few years back?

I must admit that I have a very low tolerance for Taylor thus I did not listen to his whole take on the Latin Mass. What I did listen too was just more of Taylor stroking his ego and doubling down on his beliefs of the Latin Mass.
With all that being said, I did listen to the interview with Bishop Barron. It was a lot more than just the Latin Mass that drew Shia to convert. It was first and foremost the Truth and God’s love that ultimately drew him to the Church. While a part of that was from the Latin Mass, it was also through Padre Pio, St. John the Baptist, Augustine. It was through prayer and the brothers that he stayed with to learn about Padre Pio. Ultimately when we give a liturgy the credit, you miss that it was not a liturgy that converted him but God using a variety of things to bring about conversion.
I recommend to anyone who wants to know the truth and the beauty of Shia’s conversion, I would recommend bypassing Taylor’s take and watch Bishop Barron’s interview. It was really good and worth the 1+ hours. Totally worth the time: https://youtu.be/hjxKG4mR3U4

Strange how you seem to be bashing the Latin Mass, which Shia himself claims to be one of the biggest reasons. Realize that SAINT Padre Pio (and 99.9% of every other Canonized Saint of the Catholic Church) only knew the Latin Mass.
It is okay to admit this, ya know?
