Vice President Kamala Harris visited Tennessee late last week, not to console the families of the Christian victims of a trans shooter, but to advocate for a trans rights bill.
This is, you might recall, the party that booed God. We have a president that stopped short of mentioning “Our Creator” when quoting our Founding documents.
Our media has run stories comparing rosaries to AR-15’s.
Shawn Carney reminds us: The Left’s assault on faith is widespread, however, as the values that underpin our American ethos are being consistently undermined. Media voices have attacked and vilified symbols of Christianity before. Last August, the Atlantic published an article declaring that the Catholic rosary had become a “symbol” of religious radicalism. What used to be a symbol of prayer and meditation was assigned a far darker meaning in modern times.
“Just as the AR-15 rifle has become a sacred object for Christian nationalists in general, the rosary has acquired a militaristic meaning for radical-traditional (or ‘rad trad’) Catholics,” the essay declared.
Anti-Christian sentiment has existed for some time, but has been amplified in recent years by a culture that seeks to undermine traditional values and beliefs. The crusade against Christianity is fueled by a radical Left that refuses to engage in respectful discourse, opting instead for hateful rhetoric and dehumanizing tactics.
Carney also reminds us that Jane Fonda suggested on The View that murdering pro-lifers might be the only way forward. She later said she was just joking. I’m sorry, it’s hard to tell the line of demarcation when someone who advocates for killing small human beings suggests killing larger human beings.
In the past few years there have been hundreds of arsons, vandalisms, and acts of violence against US Catholic Churches, and may more against crisis pregnancy centers.
The attack on families increases. Marriage is being pushed aside. Christians aren’t given foster children unless they agree to be willing to change their gender.
There is no mistaking this. We have just seen the murder of six Christians, including three children and we’ve seen not one company vowing to stand with the Christian community. Our government leaders have essentially ignored this and used it only to push further on the trans agenda.
We live in a dangerous time. Faithful people are seen as enemies of society. Christians are haters and phobes. By calling us this, they want to see us hide our faith away and be silent about it. But we must speak out louder and more bravely. We must do this to save society and ourselves.
