Many doctors are taking advantage of children’s confusion. They’re profiting from gender dysphoria. We can attempt to legislate this away but blue states have already entrenched themselves against children’s well being so suing these malefactors is the way to go.
These people are ruining lives and they know it but they’re profiting and being hailed as heroes by the media. Thee only way to stop them is by making it unprofitable. Sue them. Sue them mercilessly like this one woman.
Daily Mail: A young North Carolina woman is suing the medical team that put her on testosterone at age 17 and surgically removed her breasts the next year, saying she was fast-tracked into transgender care for profit when she really needed therapy.
Prisha Mosley, 25, says she was confused and battling mental health problems when clinicians suggested cross-sex hormones and a double breast removal after brief consultations, one lasting only minutes.
In her 53-page complaint, she says her doctors ‘lied’, including by saying testosterone jabs would solve her problems and make her ‘grow a penis.’ She has since decided to ‘detransition’ and live as a woman, and seeks financial damages.
The treatments left irreversible scars, she says, including a deep voice, body and facial hair, pain in her neck and shoulders, a damaged vagina, and she will not be able to breastfeed and may be infertile.
Make them pay. Literally.

Get these doctors tied up for years with numerous lawsuits and you see this trans surgery disappear….FAST!
They will see how attorney fees start cutting into their next Lexus purchase.

I don’t think you understand how this works. Parents are bullied into believing their child MUST transition, or they will commit suicide. Every “expert” they talk to (teacher, counselor, doctor) pushes this narrative. They are bad parents if they don’t agree. Often, their progressive, bleeding-heart family members and friends put pressure on them too to recognize their child was “assigned the wrong sex at birth.” AND if the parents still resist ALL. THAT. PRESSURE……
The child can, without their knowledge or consent, receive cross sex hormones at Planned Parenthood or numerous other clinics.
Don’t vilify parents. We are doing our best to stand strong but society and the entire medical profession are arrayed against us. And once your child is 18 (as the young woman in the story is) you are helpless.

I think the parents were likewise duped by the media and culture into thinking this was the best thing for their daughter too. I think there’s a lot of people who have been fed so many lies that they can’t see truth when it socks them in the gut.
My daughter is likely aspie and not very interested in the “girly” things of life. I give her clear guidelines and expectations around hygiene, dressing and behavior for her benefit so she isn’t the smelly kid or turning people off with sloppy mis-matched clothes. HOWEVER, I do not for one instant let her think herself less a female because she chooses to pursue art and dragons over hairdo’s and makeup. I grew up a tomboy, she’s doing the same. It KILLS me that this culture only allows for hyper-feminized women or “you must be transgender.”
There’s more than one way for a woman to express femininity, just as there’s more than one way to be masculine as a male. Your body was made by God to be “male or female.” To me, the interests and personalities we’re born with are there for a reason and a unique expression of His creativity. This culture is so sick with obsessing over pigeon holing people into different narrow categories of gender types and confusing our youth in the process. There are men very interested in fashion that are very much MEN, just as there are women who pursue more “masculine” interests who are very much WOMEN.
It hurts my heart to watch women with more “masculine” interests who would have been called “tomboys” and still seen as female mutilate themselves because they’re not “girly girls.” It’s got to stop!

I am sorry for the tone of my earlier comment. The article states that this person started to receive treatment at age 17, and I assumed that parents had to give consent for the treatments to start. Maybe that wasn’t the case; I don’t know. But what I do know is that it’s challenging for me to understand how a parent of a teenager could give consent. It truly does boggle my mind.
