Sometimes it just takes a little reminder that there a millions of faithful people out there, praying. The world is not completely lost. Close. But not completely.
The western route of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage, the Serra Route, is passing through Utah! On the Solemnity of Corpus Christi, hundreds of pilgrims gathered for Adoration at the oldest Catholic Church in the state, St. Mary’s Old Town Chapel, in Park City. From there, they held a Eucharistic Procession to the main Church of St. Mary’s, where Bishop Oscar Solis, the Bishop of Salt Lake City, held a bilingual Mass. Prior to arriving at the Old Town Chapel, the Perpetual Pilgrims had arrived to Park City on the Rail Trail, a picturesque hiking trail through the Rocky Mountains of Utah.
