This is terrifying! I remember someone recalling a prank where he paid a pack of his school fellows $2 to tell another boy for a whole day, “nice hat.” By the end of the day- after hearing about his non-existent hat, the boy was going nuts and believing he was delusional for not seeing the hat that everyone else was apparently seeing.
So… basically, by playing into the pretense of changing gender, we are all adding to the mental distress and confusion already experienced by these mentally ill children.
So sad, so sick. Whatever happened to being a tomboy? I was a tomboy- happier to play in the woods and run around than play dolls. I went into a male dominated field. Was better friends with guys for most my life than other women. Never once did any of that make me think that I was any less of a woman than I am.
