I perpetually enjoy the interior cheers of self adulation. I even pride myself on being so humble, an exercise which only grows more bizarre as I push on into greater humility. I know I’m no great evangelizer of the faith. I’m no saint. Perhaps I could be a martyr though. Maybe. Will I be the first martyr to strut into Heaven, full of pride? I think not. Wrestle on.
