CO State Rep. Julie McCluskie (D) is advocating for a bill that would allow the state to fund abortions through Medicaid and justifies it by claiming that choosing abortions would save Colorado more money than giving birth.

This is nightmare morality and also really stupid. For all you utilitarian freaks out there, abortions may be cheaper in the long run than births but this doesn’t count all the working years of that person who will likely contribute to society.

But this is all besides the point for anyone with a conscience. This is the difference between the secular view of human life and the Christian view. Choose sides carefully because one day your name might pop up on the cost/benefit analysis on the wrong side of the excel sheet and then they’ll be pushing some pills into your shaking hand and wishing you adieu.

Life is sacred and priceless. The moment you refuse to see that you’re just haggling over the cost.
