Author C. S. Lewis’ The Chronicles of Narnia are beloved by millions, especially Christians.

I first became concerned about this adaptation when I heard that Greta Gerwig was writing and directing. She also made the Barbie movie and co-wrote the recent uber woke Show White movie that bombed at the box office.

That’s a track record that should concern you.

Then, producer Amy Pascal said Gerwig’s approach to the Narnia films will be “a very new take” that is “all about rock n’ roll.”

CS Lewis and rock and roll. Yeah, I see it.

Now, I learned that Meryl Streep is in talks to voice Aslan the Lion. Aslan is essentially the Christ of Narnia.

This just tells me that Gerwig is doing her own thing with no concern at all for Lewis’ vision.

I won’t be seeing this rock and roll movie with the female Jesus. I’ll skip it just like I skipped the Rings of Power on Amazon.
