Some days I feel that being a Catholic is really really hard. The scandals of the Church. The pope’s airplane comments. German bishops. Monsignors on Grindr. The USCCB. I mean, come on.
And then I see something like this and I think hey, at least I’m not into this.
Is it any wonder young people are turning away from protestantism and choosing Catholicism. Yeah sure we’ve got lots of problems but we don’t have a roller coaster problem. Actually, the problem with protestantism is they don’t know they even have a roller coaster problem.
I’m being honest, if I went to a service like this it would make me question God’s omnipotence.

WTF was that?
I cannot find a smidgen of reverence or worship of God with having a roller coaster? or a clown mass. What has happened to us? What is the matter with our understanding of what God wants from us and how we worship him? Are we that loss?? Why people just don’t stand up and walk out when this occurs I will never understand.
If you want real reverence, with no worries about clowns or roller coasters look no further than your nearest Orthodox Church. The undiluted liturgy of Saint John Chrysostom or Saint Basil the Great can be found any Sunday in any Orthodox jurisdiction. Only priests distributing Holy Communion, no girls or women serving at the altar.
