Congrats to Quebec!!!! Our sisters and brothers to the north, the ones with the inexplicable french accents are shattering records and claiming the title of highest euthanasia rate in the world.
To be fair, China wasn’t self reporting their numbers so it’s impossible to know for sure but hey, the province of Quebec is technically reporting the highest euthanasia rate in the world.
That means the elderly and sick are being offed efficiently. And you thought socialist governments don’t do anything efficiently. They do! They kill.

Well, technically, this isn’t killing. Except it totally is. It’s catching someone on a bad day and encouraging them to choose death. Hey look, you can be a burden to your children and grandchildren and make them go broke while caring for you or….YOU CAN DIE!!!
On October 30, the Quebec 2024–2025 Report of the Commission on End-of-Life Care revealed that deaths by Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD) have reached 7.4 percent of the total provincial deaths and have increased 9% since last year.
The commission reported that 50 percent of the MAiD requests were from those who felt they were a burden to family, friends, or caregivers. Twenty-four percent of those killed cited loneliness and isolation as reasons to end their lives.
Think about this. Hey Artie, I hear you’re lonely. So I guess I could drop by and see ya’ now and again and maybe watch the game with you or…hey I got an idea…you could just take these pills I’m leaving on your nightstand and put an end to it.
This part was the killer for me. The report found an alarmingly short period of time between MAiD requests and doctors administering the lethal drugs. According to the report, 4 percent of requests for MAiD were fulfilled on the same or next day.
The same or next day!!!!??? I can’t get a doctor’s appointment for a month but you can get death pills same day service?
Anyway, it’s good to see Quebec gaining an identity. Good for them. There’s no truth to the rumor that the Grim Reaper will be named the city’s mascot.
How much you wanna’ bet, these numbers go up next year? And the year after?
Getting old is scary and can be painful. But there’s things we can learn from the experience. We can learn to ask for help. We can learn the humility of having loved ones care for us. And others can learn to help. But instead of loving and caring for one another we prescribe a death pill. That’s so 21st century, isn’t it?

Hell is relentless. We are taught to persevere to the end. Just as a pregnant woman is counseled to terminate her child while she is in a vulnerable mental state by professionals or even family members that she trusts, the elderly are being played by Satan in the form of family members, medical staff and others. They are told a litany of lies in order to remove the last barriers of hope and to see that what they are doing is the highest sacrifice one can do for ones family after a time of caring for them. They will be remembered for their sacrifice, alleviating concern, worry, financial burden on their families so that they too, may move on with their lives. It is insidious and evil. The ones who help and convince people to take their own lives will have to answer for that.

Don’t use their disgusting, deceitful euphemism “Medical Assistance in Dying.” It’s ASSISTED SUICIDE, not comforting the dying in their last agony.
Words mean things. The leftists and other contemporary anti-humanists abuse language to hide their evil or make it sound good. We must speak the truth, plainly.

How dreadful.
*This* is an example of why we should value our Faith and never stop learning why we believe as we do. Our lives are not ours to throw away, any more than taking someone else’s life via murder is moral or acceptable. We belong to God.
Catholicism in Quebec, with the exception of a few faithful areas, is largely a thing of the past, looked on with pitying nostalgia as something quaint and outdated. I take no pleasure in writing that. Pre-Covid, my husband and I made an annual pilgrimage to the Basilica of Sainte Anne de Beaupre, north of Quebec City. The last few times we visited, we noticed, to our horror, that many of the beautiful old French-Canadian churches we passed on our way were sold and used for gyms, bars, restaurants, and theaters – or worse.
Yes, we can blame the scandals that were first recognized some 30 years ago. A very real and horrific battle seemingly won by the devil. And we can blame modern society for its unanswered insults directed at our Holy Church – which have quickly become accepted as truth, in spite of being exaggerations and falsehoods.
But when it comes down to it, it is we who need to step up to learn about and defend our Faith with all our hearts. Because if we do not, what has happened to poor Quebec will be our fate.

I would be curious to see if the people who are killing themselves, with “assistance” are all Caucasian.
With the huge influx of South Asian immigrants (Hindu)/(Muslim) into Canada, I wonder how this policy plays with them?
My understanding is that both cultures forbid suicide or the act of murder that “assists” the person to death.

I was wondering if this practise was being encouraged by the medical industry for the organs that might be harvested and sold. I suppose many of the persons who choose this way of “ending it all” are much older and their organs have less viability than organs from younger individuals. But still have some monetary value for “research” purposes.
