The U.S. fertility rate is at an all-time low. 53.1 live births per 1,000 women. That’s news. It’s not new news because we’ve been seeing this trend for a while. But this is a new low. Congrats!
What we are seeing is a managed decline, a slow-motion evaporation of the human spirit. And look at how the mainstream media serves it up to you! They’re calling it “autonomy.” They’re calling it “prosperity.” They’re literally telling you that the fewer of us there are, the “higher quality” we become—like we’re a limited edition line of sneakers rather than divine beings made in the image of the Creator!
Did you see what that Brown University professor, Oded Galor, said? He talks about a “quantity-versus-quality tradeoff.”
“We have fewer children and can invest more in the quality of each child.”
Listen to the language! It’s the language of the factory floor. It’s the language of the spreadsheet. It is the language of the machine. From a Catholic perspective, and really from any perspective that hasn’t been marinated in a broth of secular nihilism and utopian daydreams, this is absolute madness. Every single child is an infinite explosion of potential, a unique soul that has never existed before and will never exist again. But to the secularists, a baby isn’t a miracle; it’s a “unit of consumption” or a “drain on the carbon budget.”
They want you to believe that the world is better off as a giant, sterile office space where we’re all “productive” until we’re 70, at which point the “Social Security shortfall” will be handled by just… what? Fading away quietly so we don’t disturb the AI?
The article actually says we should “cheer” for the decline because it’s better for the planet. This is the ultimate tell, isn’t it? The secularist agenda has become fundamentally anti-human. They view you, your breath, your heartbeat, your laughter, your very existence as a pollutant.
They’ve replaced the “Be fruitful and multiply” of Genesis with “Be efficient and subside.” They want a world of atomized individuals, disconnected from the lineage of the past and the hope of the future, staring at screens, “contributing to the economy,” while the actual cradle of civilization, the family, is dismantled human by human.
When we stop having children, we aren’t just losing “taxpayers” for the Social Security till. We are losing the capacity to love sacrificially. We are losing the very thing that mirrors the love of God.
The secularists promise you “freedom” through contraception and careerism, but look at the result:
Loneliness: A generation of people with no siblings, no cousins, and eventually, no one to hold their hand when the “retirement age” they keep pushing back finally arrives.
Economic Stagnation: A “permanent recession” fueled by a lack of new ideas and new energy.
The Death of Wonder: A society that views a pregnancy as a “risk factor” rather than a celebration.
Wake Up. We are being sold a bill of goods. They tell us that having fewer people makes life “better,” yet everyone feels more anxious, more isolated, and more controlled than ever.
We must reject this sterile, spreadsheet-driven vision of humanity. We aren’t “biological inputs” for a failing capitalist machine. We are part of a mystical body. Life is a gift, not a burden to be “managed” by some expert at Brown University who thinks the planet would be tidier if you just didn’t exist.
Choose life. Choose the chaos of a full house over the eerie silence of a dying civilization. Because if we don’t start valuing the “quantity” of souls, we’re going to find out very quickly that the “quality” of a world without children is a nightmare.
Stay free. And maybe… give someone a hug and start a family. A big one. Just a thought.

So how many kids do you have?
My assumption is that the number is two or fewer, because like all right wing loons, you’re a liar and a hypocrite who lives in exactly the opposite way to what you preach. You worship Trump much more than you worship God.

First of all it would help if you were married. Get rid of your anger at the world. Oh…and I have five children. Did you get your Covid shots? Might explain things…. You can take your mask off now.
