Breaking: Pope Leo XIV tells states that Catholic Colleges and Universities must teach “sound doctrine” and that it is not enough to teach intellectual truths but they must teach the “Truth that is Christ.”

OK. Now let’s get the Swiss Guard involved.

Every class will be attended by a member of the Swiss Guard. And if the professor strays a bit, the Swiss Guard pokes them lightly with the halberd. Repeat offenses will be handled a bit more…harshly.

The truth is that young people are desperate for the Truth. They don’t need to see how like the world the Church is. That’s done. They want to hear how the Church is timeless and eternal. How it doesn’t changes with the times.

Pray that Catholic colleges, at least some of them, hear this plea from the pope and change. I think the word is…convert.
