She seems nice.

Here you have a nice Storm fan yelling at the little girls and calling them trash.

Sophie responded with grace.

What we have with the WNBA is an ecosystem that hadn’t been open to the outside world, which was fine because nobody wanted in. They were allowed to exist there. But then came Caitlin Clark and people were interested. But the WNBA ecosystem didn’t want outsiders harassing their vibe. They don’t want disagreement. They want their viewpoints expressed at all times. And now you have these new fans showing up and they’re not wanted. You have a player in Caitlin Clark who is despised by the league, its owners, its leadership, its old fans, and the other players. You have Sophie Cunningham, the second most popular player in the league saying she’s a Christian and that she thinks men shouldn’t play in women’s leagues. This can not continue. One side will adapt. I suspect that the new fans will eventually just go away once Caitlin receives a calamitous injury. And they’ll shake their heads and go elsewhere, leaving the ecosystem untouched once again.
