Meryl Streep will officially voice Aslan in Greta Gerwig’s ‘NARNIA: THE MAGICIAN’S NEPHEW’.

In the books by Christian CS Lewis, Aslan the Lion is Jesus. This isn’t even one of those things like that idiot running for Senate in Texas arguing that God is non-binary. But this isn’t even God (the Father).This is supposed to be Jesus.
This is a middle finger from Hollywood. And I know that millions of Christians will march right into the theater and call it a “masterpiece” and say this is true to Lewis’ vision and they’ll speak derisively about their pea-brained fellow Christians who are upset about it.

The literature of C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien is everything good, and thus is irreconcilably at war with Modernity — so the forces of Modernity want to subvert and corrupt their literature, to turn what they imagined, what they wrote, into a weapon against everything they believed and stood for. Someone needs to tell Greta that the Ape dressing a donkey in a lion’s costume is a villain, not a hero. Maybe then she’ll start acting like the faithful Narnians instead of the Ape, and stop trying to trick people into thinking that Aslan and Tash are the same person.

Anything that touches the image of Jesus to you MUST be male. Women approaching Jesus defile him. (That’s also why you worship Mary. Catholic Mary isn’t a real woman; she’s a goddess figure invented by psychologically warped monks who hated all women. Just like you do.)
This is the real reason Catholic ‘priests’ have to be male. Priests are the image of Christ. Christ is God. God, therefore, MUST be male and women do not have the Imago Dei at all.

I wonder why Greta can’t use her own imagination and talents to create her own original epic tale with her own characters which will last for generations? Vandalizing a great author’s work and making superficial virtue signaling changes does little to advance her creative reputation. It is a pathetic display of narcissistic petulance.
JK Rowlings created a wonderful world of her own with original characters and story lines. Regina Doman took fairy tale concepts and wrote an outstanding series of modern tales for young adults. These are examples of women with the creative talent and strength of character to produce lasting art.
Greta and Meryl are just exhibiting their pathetic feminist insecurities and, in the case of Narnia, are little different from pirates who loot and destroy things they can’t produce themselves.
