Ryan Egan won the men’s title at the West Coast Surfing Championships in 2019. But now this man is the new “female” champion Lowerson in this year’s competition, according to MRC.

Lowerson commented, “To be the first transgender woman competing in surfing hasn’t been an easy ride emotionally, but the amount of support I’ve been showed has been phenomenal and I’m so grateful to be involved, welcomed and embraced within the longboard community in Australia.”

When he says welcomes what he really means is that he’s so grateful that everyone around him is too scared of being cancelled to say anything negative about this insanity. Also they might be scared that the female winner might beat the crap out of them because he’s a pretty big dude, even if he is wearing lipstick.
