It always struck me as rather horrifying that Roe v. Wade established a “right” to an abortion as our rights are derived from God. That means that God granted humans the right to kill humans He created. It didn’t make a lot of sense to me. But I don’t think the left truly believes that our rights are derived from our Creator.
And to be honest, I don’t think they particularly care whether the unborn are humans or not. Pro-lifers have spent a lot of time attempting to convince others of the humanity of the unborn. That is a great thing but what we must understand is that there are many out there for whom the humanity of the unborn is not a deal breaker. OK, it’s human. So what?
Andrew Klavan, the author and Daily Wire personality, has an interesting take on Dobbs. He essentially says we live in a world where evil will always be committed. That’s the deal. But that’s different than living in a country that says you have a right to do evil. It’s an interesting distinction that I think matters.
Our country is better because of the Dobbs decision.

Yes, Dobbs is also a KO for the dreadful mystery clause of Justice Kennedy from Casey v. PP (“At the heart of liberty is the right to define one’s own concept of existence, of meaning, of the universe, and of the mystery of human life.”). I seriously came to believe that the USA ceased to exist in 1992 via this clause in Casey since it turned the Dec. of Independence on its head, ie, there were officially no longer self-evident Truths, it was officially up to each individual to make up his/her truth according to the Court.
The court officially returned the USA to some semblance of itself in my view, at least in its highest law.

I admit that I’m not as well educated as many are today in our society but if the above mind vomit is indicative of higher education then I’ll still with my high school education of 1971.
