The left and the media (redundancy alert) haven’t quite forgiven Chick-Fil-A for donating to Christian groups that support marriage being between a man and a woman. So they’ll do whatever they can to attack the fast food giant.

But this case has to be the most pathetic angle of attack yet? I mean, it’s just so sad.

NBC News reports:

Chick-fil-A is under fire for a tweet that social media users said called out a Twitter user’s race.

A Twitter user tweeted at the fast-food chain Friday: “grilled spicy deluxe but still noooo spicy nuggets…………@ChickfilA…..”

In direct response, the official Twitter account for Chick-fil-A responded, “Your community will be the first to know if spicy items are added to the permanent menu, Don!”

While the initial tweet had only six replies, Chick-fil-A’s response got more than 700 replies and 4,300 quote tweets because of its choice of wording. Many Twitter users called out the account’s decision to use the term “your community,” questioning whether it was targeting the identity of the user, who appears to be Black.

“What do you mean by ‘your community’???????” a tweet read.

I don’t which is more pathetic -the leftists living on Twitter who pretend to be perennially offended or the hunchback kyphosis suffering journalists who stare at Twitter all day and pretend it’s real life.

Chick-Fil-A explained it pretty quickly after a very minor twitter storm erupted. It turns out that “Your community” actually meant “your community.” It means coming to a story near you, you know…in “your community.”

But they could twist this so they did.

Can you imagine that NBC found this a story worth sharing. A tweet that received 700 retweets and ended just as quickly is worthy of an NBC News story.

Think for a moment about all the tweets and posts people are posting about pharmaceutical companies. There’s millions of them. But does NBC News report on that? Nope.

To be clear, this isn’t a story to inform you that the news system is not objective and rigged against you. That’s not news or even interesting at this point. It’s a story about the fact that they hate you and will stop at nothing to malign you.

Like it or not, Big Media is still a powerful force in the country. Any sane person scoffs at anything and everything that comes out of their mouths but there’s a lot of people still influenced by these “stories.”

We now have a leftist controlled media which is the same as state controlled. This is not shocking. This happens all over the world. This is the norm. The US was the exception. We are no longer that. It’s going to be a struggle to regain it but it must be done.
