U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan said this week that the country needs more teachers of color and male teachers. So the Department of Education is trying to attract a more diverse workforce? So there’s too many white women teaching the kids in our country?

In other news, Bruce Levenson, who led the ownership group of the Atlanta Hawks since 2004, was pretty much forced to sell the team due to an email that he sent two years ago to fellow Hawks executives detailing his thoughts on how the team could attract more white fans.

So that was verboten. But the federal government saying pretty much the same thing is bad. Got it?

Say, remember when U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder said that America was “a nation of cowards” when it came to discussing race. Hmmm. Wonder why that might be.
