Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?

My 5th grader saw ‘the video’ last week.

They show this video to all 5th graders at the end of the year, boys and girls separate with different topics, of course. The video shows them some of the changes to expect in the coming years of puberty.

My 5th grade boy got off the bus on Friday where I met him.

“Dad we saw a video on puberty today.”

“I know,” I said.

“Dad, I don’t want any part of that!! It is disgusting!!”

“Ha!”

“They gave us deodorant to take home. What are they thinking?”

“Maybe they think you smell?”

“Like roses, baby! I am totally skipping puberty Dad.”

“I understand.”
