Zimmerman’s lawyer stood before the judge at the close of the prosecutions’s case and argued that the Stste of Florida had failed in its burden and that Zimmerman should be summarily acquitted.

 He was right. Yet it never had a snowball’s chance of being approved.

This is what happens when politics trumps law. These are very dangerous times.

Even if you think that Zimmerman is guilty, one must acknowledge that the State failed to prove it.
