Wow. Andrew Sullivan said on CNN that Jesus is sooooooo pro-gay marriage that He’s weeping for joy over the Supreme Court’s decision. It’s amazing to me how often Sullivan believes Jesus agrees with him.

He said, “I think Jesus is weeping for joy. I don’t think Jesus is on the other side of this. Although I don’t wanna claim to know anything about that. But I do know that Jesus was always on the side of love.”

So many people have screamed recently that Jesus never said a word about gays so there’s no way that us Catholic nutjobs could possibly know what Jesus thought about gays. But obviously Andrew Sullivan does.

I guess when Jesus said, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no human being must separate.”
