Normally when a big pop star endorses a Republican, Republicans see it as good news and indicative that said pop star has some intelligence.
When an African American pop star does it, that might seem like even better news.

Rapper Nicki Minaj gave Mitt Romney an expletive-filled endorsement in a Lil Wayne song released Monday.
The pop star, rumored to be a new judge on “American Idol,” also took a shot at President Obama on the eve of the Democratic convention.

Luckily she has such a high-pitched voice and raps so fast that no one can understand her. Plus, she's out of her mind so no one tries to listen to her.
