My four year old came sleepily down the stairs with the craziest hair this morning holding a stuffed bear. I asked her how she slept and she said she slept fine but her little bear was scared when the monster showed up.

“Well,” I said as if this were a reasonable reaction. “I mean, who’s not scared when the monster shows up?”

“The monster,” she answered.

“Yeah, well him,” I agreed. “But I meant everyone else.”
