This is just priceless. A little girl is pulled up onto the stage at Disney for a Star Wars show where she unexpectedly joins the dark side.

Haha! I love this!

Not surprised. People choose the dark side all of the time.

The little girl bowed to Darth Vader because her parents did not tell her to genuflect to the King of heaven and earth in the tabernacle, Jesus Christ. The atheist has taken the TRUTH away from us and left us with despair and darkness. Bowing to Darth Vader now, to abortion and euthanasia later. Preserving her virginity, her innocence and citizenship according to our founding principles…what virginity? innocence? principles?

When my nephew Luke dressed as a Jedi for Halloween, My brother-in-law dressed as Darth Vader (Luke I am your Father), and I gave our 2-year-old niece a Yoda costume. I thought this was a girl showing allegiance to her father. Repeating, lighten up!!!

What I do not understand is why is Darth Vader, Darth Vader. Does Darth Vader know? and if he knows, what is he doing about it?

What? Now I'm confused…

I'll hazard a guess at this, Margaret.
Mary is concerned about the disposition of the "actor" and his soul, particularly as to whether the actor understands that by his choice to represent evil incarnate (DV) he, a. hasn't been evangelized; or b. has rebuked the Lord.
This may be a buzz kill, but it's nice to know Mary cares. After all, who knows what evil lurks…? Besides the Shadow, of course. Pun upon pun.

Vader isn't evil incarnate; if we're going to try to view this in an utterly grim and killjoy manner, you should be ashamed for thus labeling a fellow person who fell into despair but was saved by the love of his son.
Also, the "actors doing bad things" was dealt with a long time ago– one is not morally responsible for the action of one's character.
If you're quite done trying to suck all joy out of a rather silly post, can you at least try to do it in a manner that's not worse than the least charitable view of the original post?

@Charles Culbreth "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows." Chosen as one of the 100 best radio programs by the Smithsonian. The Lone Ranger too. Several accounts cross my mind. 1) The little girl was an actor and part of the play. 2) Everybody loves James Earl Jones, me too. 3) The little girl was not part of the play but really fell in love with the guy behind the funny black clothes because the man approached her with tenderness and joy in his voice. He recognized her as a beautiful and precious human being. What I cannot understand is why the man in darth vader clothes did not raise her up, enjoy, dance, and laugh with her even if not in the script.
The chasm I am trying to breech is this: Darth Vader as a despairing human being cannot represent total evil known as "the Dark Side" or the devil, even, while maybe serving the devil. A fallen man raised up is glorious. The devil cannot and will not change his rejection of God or the devil will not be the devil. So, Darth Vader is not the evil one or the Dark Side as opposed to God, only a man struggling with his fallen nature. I really appreciated the responses, expecially those bringing back my childhood before TV. Yes, there are four great-grandchildren, and God renews the face of the earth. A must hear is Raymond Arroyo's TRUTH & LIFE DRAMATIZED AUDIO BIBLE of which the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Mark is online as a free gift. WOW

Mary, you need to calm down. Or talk to a therapist, quickly.
(And maybe it shouldn't be QUITE so easy for deranged people to keep posting here and making the blog look like a haven for crazies? …Any Archbolds listening?)

I sm properly and proportionately shamed by my impertinence.
I shall retire to my den, er…cell and do penance via viewing an episode of "The Borgias."
