I don't believe in banning books. Read the book. Judge its content against your experience and morals. The truth doesn't need to be protected from disparate views. It will always prevail. If I can't read conflicting views, how can I learn?

I wonder if the results would have been the same had these books been on the bottom row instead of the top one.

I, too, wondered about that, fportelli. Not a huge statistical difference, though, I'd bet.

I would be more interested in seeing this with the books arranged differently, but also, with the choices being recorded on a secondary sheet of paper, rather than on the poster board. Seeing what other people chose may have influenced decisions.
