Yes, we are not exceptional. Turns out, we are just like everyone else.

What is it Mr. Anonymous? Do you believe that your american politcs are exceptionals and that there is no corruption in your goverment? Do you believe that your goverment can do anything without consequences? You put the autor's intelligence in question, but you also put yours in question by not having an intelligent argument against the article and resorting to homosexual comments showing lack of civility.

Good article. I prefer to think that we as people of God " hope" to be exceptional… and that over generations many have succeeded. The ups and downs of any economy cannot shake those who have built their lives on the Rock. This too will pass.

I hate it when people say "pray". God doesn't care about your stupid ignorant t-evangelist prayers. Religion and politics don't mix. When religious people get in to politics, they look like a bunch of ignorant Texans with a Texan swagger.

"We haven’t felt or behaved like AAA+ citizens for some time and it hurts that others have noticed.". Wow… that about sums it up. Good article.
