My sister sent me this and I thought it was great. I wonder how many nights we avoided children coming down the stairs in the middle of the night afraid, because of the friendship of a stuffed animal.

Now I know the answer to my little boy's question: "How come, every time I wake up in the morning, Mr. Bear is still sleeping?" The answer is that he's worn out from his night vigil.

Isn't that adorable!? A friend of mine shared this:
"At the four corners of a child's bed stand Perseus and Roland, Sigurd and St. George. If you withdraw the guard of heroes you are not making him rational; you are only leaving him to fight the devils alone." ~G.K. Chesterton
Guess we can name one of the Bears St George! 😉

Don't know about that sword. Looks like Bear could use an M2 .50 Cal. – at least.

Our kids have a picture book about a "brave guard bear". Try saying that 5 ties fast!

That would be 5 times fast!

@Cathy D.
I am disappointed.
I said it, like, 20 times – fast. Still came out the same. Hmm? Not at all like saying "Shine my city shoes" or similar.

I am somewhat inclined to agree about the need for heavier artillery in the defense of their charges. But one has to remember, the bears gotta fight the demons with extreme prejudice QUIETLY…:p
Lovely pic….

Beautiful.

I'd up-armor them with an M4 with silencer, and some aerial fire support from the Apache mobile hanging in the room. A stuffed Hellfire missle wouldn't make much noise…besides, my kids sleep like the dead once they're out.
