President Obama slams Congress for legislation affirming “In God We Trust” as our motto. Hey, maybe if Obama weren’t doing everything he could to banish God and religion from public life, Congress wouldn’t feel the need to act in such a manner.
I think Barry went off teleprompter here because I think he quickly realized that perhaps people wouldn’t take kindly to him mocking “In God We Trust” so he adds that he trusts in God but God wants Congress to pass his jobs bill. Or something.
