If there were any thought that this depiction of marital missives regarding the cotidianal events that inconvenience the members of the nuptial enterprise were in some way dated, quaint, and as it were, unsuited to our more modern times, I would prefer to volunteer that it illustrate the level of articulation of thought and feeling that truly correspond to a normal exchange between two spouses, who, secure in their love for each other, and fond of knowing that the other also may desire to hear and see words commensurate with that love, take the time to express their minds with full ardor and openness. The convenience of near instant communication has proven a bane rather than an unmixed blessing, abbreviating, as it does the complexity of one's true meaning.
