Thank goodness we have people like Rep. Alcee Hastings to let us know which foods are racist.
Rep. Hastings is upset that Rep. Allen West provided Chick-Fil-A to a meeting of the Congressional Black Caucus, six months ago. But what he had to say about which types of food are acceptable and which are not made me laugh out loud.
Let’s call is “Racism for Dummies.”
“We have a rotation in the Congressional Black Caucus where every member provides the lunch one of the weeks when we meet,” Hastings told HuffPo on Monday.
“We have fried chicken. And we have catfish and BBQ. We do not have watermelon, although sometimes people will have fruit. We serve a full course meal with collard greens. We have Jamaican beans and rice,” Hastings said. “But West ”sent Chick-fil-A with biscuits. Ok?”
Got it. Fried chicken, BBQ, collard greens, Jamaican beans and rice are all ok. Watermelon and Chick-Fil-A, that’s racist. This is how he thinks.
“We do not have watermelon, although sometimes people will have fruit.” The most unintentionally stupid funny quote of the day.

Obama is feeding our Jewish brethren ham sandwiches, rejecting their conscience freedom, but the black race cannot have watermelon or Chick-Fil-A, because these people choose not to be lied to about the sexuality of the fake husband and the fake wife in a fake marriage. I am sure this will earn the respect and admiration of all rational, civilized people, born and unborn.

I guess I am a Yankee- but I don't understand the 'watermelon and fried chicken are for blacks'- doesn't everyone love those foods?

If you don't like fried chicken, BBQ, collared greens, and watermelon there is something wrong with you. Then again I have lived in Louisiana most of my life and it's just normal food for us.

These foods are racist? Maybe the KKK will start hassling blacks by leaving box meals of these items on black doorsteps!
