I've never met a pro abortion person. I'm pro choice and so are my children. I appreciate the anti-abortion stance. I really do, but when 2 peoples rights are in conflict, one wins, one loses. Life is hard!
@Rover: Name another instance where "I favor one class of people being allowed to choose to kill members of another class" is considered to be something different from "I favor one class of people killing members of another class".
I can't think of one. The two statements would be considered identical, e.g., in regard to scholars and nobles in Joseon Korea and most eras of Chinese history, samurai in feudal and Edo-period Japan, ethnic Manchurians in Qing-Dynasty China, and—of course—slave-owners in every era of Western history except the Middle Ages and the period after the mid-1800s.
("When two people's rights are in conflict, one wins, one loses. Life is hard!" is, in essence, the argument of every oppression in the history of time. You're in good company, killer.)
