The Prime Minister of a country fighting for its very existence, a country populated by the descendants of one of the worst genocides of all time, addresses the U.N. is a desperate plea to stop Iran peaceably before its too late. These are the photos that the AP & Reuters ran for his speech.
Given the context, this is a new and almost unspeakably despicable new low for the press.

I don't get it. What's despicable about it?

This Chris.

It took me a second too. Oh Lord save us! What are we coming to?

Oh my gosh. Is our side now to be the one looking for a grievance? I thought it was just the OTHER GUYS who looked for any reason to be offended. And you really do have to be looking for something here. I mean, it only even kinda resembles a nazi salute if you want it to. For one it's the wrong hand, for two it's out to the side rather than out in front, and for three it's Netan-freaking-yahu! Who could possibly believe that he was making a nazi salute? If the right gets offended at this, then it just gives credence to all those liberal dolts who take offense at the most inane and obscure things.

@Chris-2-4: they piss on your leg and you still insist it's raining.

God bless PM Netanyahu and Israel.

Really? There are plenty of reasons to trash the press, but this is silly.
Also, if you like the Jews, you might want to take notice of the fact that the government of Israel is full of socialist atheists- yes even their so-called right wing is socialist. They don't care about religion or ethnicity unless they are trying to manipulate people for votes- much like the leaders of various Muslim countries do.
Gaza was populated by religious Jews at one time- it was their own government who dispossessed them.
It occurs to me that they would have to listen to their people more if the U.S. would stop funding them.

deliver us from evil

Pat, this is nonsense! You're reading into these photos something that's not there.

@August: all the same is far truer of the UK. Only, Israel (or the Jewish people generally) were not our sworn mortal enemy pretty much right up until 1900. The UK was.
We'll defund Israel after we defund the UK. And that ain't never gonna happen.

It's not as silly as you claim. They can grab any frame from their video footage, and they chose those. If they were college kids I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but they're "professional" journalists and the selection of images to be published is the responsibility of a team. If it really was a mistake, then that's reason to be concerned as well. And considering the other evidence we have of MSM nonsense, it's even harder to disregard.

I don't think this is a new low; the press has done worse, and will continue to do worse. Besides, comparing powerful Jews to Hitler isn't that terrible, considering the likes of Yagoda, Kaganovich and Trotsky.
