Their hypocrisy and hubris know no bounds.
They design a horrible healthcare system without even reading it, but exempt themselves from it.
Now, they want to take away your 2nd amendment rights, but not their own.
Not everyone will have to abide by Senator Dianne Feinstein’s gun control bill. If the proposed legislation becomes law, government officials and others will be exempt.
“Mrs. Feinstein’s measure would exempt more than 2,200 types of hunting and sporting rifles; guns manually operated by bolt, pump, lever or slide action; and weapons used by government officials, law enforcement and retired law enforcement personnel,” the Washington Times reports.
See, it is your right to self defense that is a problem, not theirs.
The last person I would trust with a gun is the person who wants to take mine away.

The Second Amendment isn't about hunting, and it's not even entirely
about self-defense. It's about the citizenry of this nation having the
means to resist tyranny. Kinda hard to do if you only have something
single-action and the tyrants have fully automatic.
In Switzerland, almost every adult serves in the army, and serve in the
reserves until they're 40. They're trained to use an assault rifle, and
issued one with two sealed containers of ammo, and sent home
with them to keep in their house. Even the nazis didn't invade
that nation, where every cute little chalet holds at least one assault
rifle and someone trained to use it. No wonder the Popes still use the
Swiss for their guards.
Senator Feinstein and her like-minded friends see themselves as
public nannies, not public servants. Of course they'll exempt
themselves (and their friends) from this legislation, just like they did
with Obamacare.

Leave the guns along, bills dealing with security in school need to take center stage – PERIOD. Second, If a family has a psychotic family member, there must be guns safes that are locked and out of reach of the psychotic person.
Senator Feinstein carries a hand gun why, she already has a extensively sophisticated security system that protects her. If the government does not allow people to protect themselves, then a New Occupy movement needs to occupy the government when in session and at their place of residence and demand that all protection be removed from politicians so that they have the same protection as the citizens that they represent.

@Thomas Lewis: Can you name me which of the spree killings of the last decade were committed by psychotics? Because this latest guy was autism-spectrum, several of the others had antisocial issues (i.e. psychopathy). Do you actually know the meaning of psychotic?
As a general rule, violence by psychotics doesn't take the form of planned massacres like these. It's usually more in the form of sudden outbreaks—psychotics are the people we mean when we say "not guilty by reason of insanity" or "guilty but insane", because as far as they know they're actually acting in self-defense.
I actually can't name a single psychotic who committed this kind of violence, other than the Son of Sam killer. Which was, what, in the 70s sometime, right?
Please don't throw around technical terms you obviously don't know the meaning of.
