Of course.
The media is nothing if not consistent.
CNN.com lead story on Easter Sunday challenges notion that early Christians were persecuted. I am sure they will say the same thing after they feed us to the lions.

Ha! The book's author is a professor at Notre Dame.
"Moss (a New Testament professor at the University of Notre Dame) says ancient stories of church persecution have created a contemporary cult of bogus Christian martyrs. She says too many American Christians are acting like they’re members of a persecuted minority, being thrown to the lions by people who simply disagree with them."

Well into the 20th century — and possibly now — Christians suffered in slave labor camps; now Christians attend Mass wearing tee-shirts made in modern slave labor camps, tees that advertise the products of slave labor camps.
I type this on a machine made in slave labor camps, and send it via a server who honors Communist thugs.
Sigh.

The BBC has a similar piece by the sneering David Willey, whose commentary on this year's Rome Good Friday Way of the Cross reads: "It takes place in Rome's ancient colosseum where it was popularly believed many early christians were martyred, although there's no real evidence for this."

The historical revisionists are at it again.

It never ceases to amaze me the depths to which the media will plummet to disrput Christian holidays…

They'll never feed us to lions, PETA would object.
What will happen is the IRS will crawl up our butts with a microscope. Personally, I'd prefer the lions.
