The good news is that I saw a poll which looks like it shows that the ban on later term abortion in Albuquerque, New Mexico is going to pass.
But there are many seeking to stop it. Sadly, many Catholics. Rep. Patricia Roybal Caballero, D-Albuquerque, is a member of Catholics for Choice and she seems to be attempting to corner the market on stupid, saying all sorts of idiotic things like “There’s a misunderstanding that because we’re traditional in our views that we’re necessarily dogmatic. We are not. We’re very familial when it comes to decisions such as these.”
Wait, what?
I pray that she lives long enough to regret taking that photo.
Catholics for Choice is running radio and print ads to convince voters to vote against the ban.

What she said makes no sense. Kind of like being a Catholic for choice makes no sense. I pray for her heart to change.

Because it's oh-so-familial to abort your unborn child. It is so familial, as a matter of fact, that those who abort their children have a higher likelihood of difficulty with intimacy with future partners and of emotional distance from any children they do end up having. They also have a higher likelihood of growing old with no one to care for them. Nothing says "familial" like an old person dying alone and forgotten. Thank God we have people like Rep. Caballero to disseminate such potent ideas for us.

"Choice" – what a happy-clappy euphemism for mass-murder, just like "final solution" and "resettlement to the east."
