I’m reading in a few places now that the Holy Father Pope Francis might just be wheels up in 2015 and heading into the City of Brotherly Love next year.
As you might remember Philly is hosting the next World Meeting of Families. How awesome would that be?

The Church in America hasn’t had an easy run of things in recent years, much of that was its own making but this would be something that could inspire so many Catholics that, I believe, great good would come of it.
I call dibs for covering this for The Register because let’s face it, CMR is not getting press credentials to cover this. But the Register on the other hand. I’m already here. They won’t even have to pay air fare, cab costs, or hotels. Consider it.

Pope Benedict had desired to come to the USA if he was still Pope, and I think Francis would honor that promise. There's plenty of time to go elsewhere in the interim.
