A panel which is part of the United Nations has criticized the country of Ireland for its lack of access to abortion.

“The Committee reiterates its previous concern regarding the highly restrictive circumstances under which women can lawfully have an abortion in the state,” stated the Committee last week.

You might recall that earlier this summer, the U.N. suggested that the Catholic Church’s stance for life amounted to “psychological torture.”

You know, I’m starting to think the U.N. might not like the Catholic Church or its teachings very much.
