I am not on the Rand-wagon, but I thought that Rand Paul gave an excellent answer today about abortion that should be the model of how political pro-lifers should turn such question around.
Asked a gotcha question in an interview, Rand responded:
“Why don’t we ask the DNC: Is it okay to kill a 7 pound baby in the uterus?” Paul reportedly said. “You go back and you ask Debbie Wasserman Schultz if she’s okay with killing a seven pound baby that is not born yet. Ask her when life begins, and you ask Debbie when it’s okay to protect life. When you get an answer from Debbie, get back to me.”
Excellent. Point out the murderous extremism of the mainstream monstrous Democrat position. Do this every single time.
As a result, the long knives are out for Rand Paul. The Washington Post went to press quickly with a hit piece trying to paint Rand Paul as prickly and angry.
Interestingly enough, the WaPo characterized Senator Paul’s abortion response as a “side-step” but purposely failed to quote the Senator on it. I wonder why?
