A young woman was excited about voting in her first election and wanted a cake with the American flag and the word “Trump” on it. Now, I’m sure you see where this is going.

The woman behind the counter refused to make the cake with the word “trump” on it. So the kid went off and found another baker. Imagine that, she didn’t contact lawyers!?

After the young woman’s Facebook post went viral, the store did issue a statement saying that they would, in fact, make the cake and that it was all just a big misunderstanding doncha’ know.

I did a feature on Jack Phillips, the baker who refused to make a cake for a same sex wedding in my book Faith Under Fire: Dramatic Stories of Christian Courage. And he’s paying the price for it as the government jumped all sorts of ugly on him. . But given the choice between his faith and his livelihood, he chose his faith.

Something tells me that the government response would not be the same for a baker refusing to make a Trump cake.
