Can you imagine laicizing a priest over tweeting out a bad word and then deleting it shortly after?
This is a double standard. We all know it. They don’t care. They want Fr. Pavone out because he’s an effective voice for the unborn and he’s not afraid to get involved in the politics.

Of course Bergoglio has no power to “laicize” anyone, since he himself is only a heretic strutting around in pope garb and wondering how long he has to keep up his charade or if the faithful will ever wake up and demand that the bishops do their duty.

Those who fully live the faith need to take care to avoid even the slightest (even forgivable) missteps, because there is no mercy. Meanwhile, apostates like Mr. James Martin act as satan’s voice from within, muddying clear waters.

I am sorry but reducing his removal as a priest to something as simple as the use of a bad word is just stupid and wrong.
He has done many things that are inappropriate as a priest. From denying an immediate funeral for an aborted baby because he wanted to use its corpse for a political statement to not being obedient to his superiors to abusing the Sacrament of Reconciliation by telling people from a certain political party that he would hear their confession but not give absolution because they were not repentive enough to finally working in a political office without permission. He has spiritually abused people and not a peep was said about it.
Pavone has brought this on himself plain and simple and he has no one to blame but himself. He is a just another celebrity priest who is more concerned about his status and power then he is about his priesthood.
I have been following this page for a while and I have seen you call for wayward priests to submit to Rome. Now people of your mindset say only submit to a bishop if they are “good” but good is only relative in your book because you standards change if they support every single thing you believe. Pavone thought he was above reproach so he ignored the calls by his bishop and now that he has been reprimanded, he is acting like the victim.

How has Fr Pavone disobeyed his superiors? The inappropriately leaked document makes that accusation without citing an actual event.
It is rumored that his bishop tried to move him to a parish, but the order needs to be in writing. So, where is it? Why was Fr Pavone not notified before the news media?
