Kate Forbes announced that she would run to be the First Minister of Scotland after Nicola Sturgeon’s disastrous tenure which went trans crazy and sought to put any prisoner in the gender prison of their choice.

Kate Forbes gave some interviews in which she seemed perfectly reasonable but there was some big news. She’s a Christian. And not just one of those Christians who kinda’ sorta’ believes but allows their belief in no way to shape their lives, but an actual believing Christian.

Kate Forbes said she believes a marriage is between a man and a woman but she wouldn’t roll back the law. She said it’s better for a child to have a mother and father who are married. And she said that a man dressing as a woman is still a man.

And here’s the headline you get:

Hot Air wrote: We have now entered an era where it is controversial but not deadly to insist that children should be castrated and mutilated based upon a likely temporary confusion about their gender identity, but admitting that you are a traditional Christian who is tolerant of people with different views is utterly beyond the pale.

Ms. Forbes was not campaigning to change the laws, or even directly address them in any way. She simply didn’t agree with them based on her faith. This, it seems, is now enough to disqualify a person for higher office, notwithstanding her apparent competence. She was the frontrunner, after all, so there was agreement on that.

So a Christian who is tolerant of other views is being railroaded out while those who can’t allow her to become First Minister because she holds certain personal views are considered the inclusive ones?

The 21st century is giving me a headache.
