That great bastion of freedom, democracy, and human rights has once again shown its true colors. The UN Human Rights Council while ignoring the overwhelming majority of human rights abuses managed to take care of one critical issue. No, not Darfur, they couldn’t even acknowledge that little misunderstanding. No, they adopted a resolution against defamation of religions. Well OK, defamation of religions is bad right? Well, it depends on the religion. The only religion singled out for such protection was Islam. The Pope should be careful on his next visit to Regensburg because the men in the little blue helmets might be waiting to arrest him. See the full story here.
