It suggests to me that the author is consciously attempting to graphically communicate the great evil, the shocking awfulness, of deliberately killing one's own son or daughter.

Wow. I wish you had kept this one yourself. I can only imagine the hate mail she is getting. Yes, it is a gross tragedy to post on Craig's list, but how completely shipwrecked do you have to be to make that kind of ad. I feel really nauseated now. I guess I know who I need to pray for.
