The headlines Sunday trumpeted the wisdom and sagacity of William Jefferson Clinton.
Bill, offered his advice to Democrats to not dismiss gun owners.
So it would seem, that unlike so many Democrats, Bill understands the rights and reasonable concerns of many Americans, right?
Wrong.
In fact, it was one condescending jerk telling a bunch of other condescending jerk to not look down their noses at the backwoods morons. I kid you not.
“After telling Democrats, not to look down their noses at gun owners, BJ went on to say this. “A lot of these people . . . all they’ve got is their hunting and their fishing,” he said. “Or they’re living in a place where they don’t have much police presence. Or they’ve been listening to this stuff for so long that they believe it all.”
So in other words, don’t look down your noses at these people, they are too stupid to know better. Or as Eliana Johnson put it, “Hey, you’re really pretty for a fat girl! ” Thanks for nothing jerk.

As a condescending jerk, I object to being compared to these people. They are unjustifiably condescending. You are only allowed to condescend to people when you've actually got the chops; the Democrats are markedly less informed on this topic than the opposition.

As another condescending jerk, I am amused at the pathetic attempt at condescension by a sad old man of questionable antecedents and for whom wearing shoes is still a new experience.
