The celebrities gathered backstage, musicians and actors and the like, preparing for this important event. The big event has one purpose, to raise awareness about an unthinkable tragedy and travesty.
The U.N. report has the grisly details. Each year, over 100,000 people are killed for no other reason than for who they are and what they believe. The families of a million or more destroyed as a result. Minorities leaving in fear in their own countries.
In addition to those killed, many hundreds of thousands more are displaced, fleeing countries their families have inhabited for generations or even millennia for fear that they can be dragged out their houses or places of worship and killed at any moment.
The body count from this ongoing tragedy is incomprehensible enough, but the collateral damage from this decimation truly boggles the mind.
And yet, the world hardly knows about it.

It's really no surprise. We also seem to be the last remaining group one can openly mock while simultaneously being praised for their tolerance. Apparently, tolerance exists for everyone no matter what….except…maybe…Christians.
Still, I'm so bored with the whole victim mindset that I still refuse to whine about it and claim victim status. It seems all the true victims of this world are too busy actually being victimized, terrorized or what not that they don't have to injure themselves in their dorm rooms while claiming to be oppressed.

…and what does one hear in the night?
….the "symphony" of cicada!
….and prayers of the faithful for governments' perverse inaction!
Just once, Obama, protect and defend the humblest humans on earth!
…but of course, falling on "tone deaf" big ears, looks like the "civilized" world is going to be eating dust and learning to love i!
Our Lady of Refuge, hear your children's plea for help!
