With less than 24 hours notice, the Vatican announced that Apostolic Letters of Pope Francis, given motu proprio. They are entitled Mitis iudex Dominus Iesus and Mitis et Misericors Iesus on the reform of the canonical process for the causes of declaration of nullity of marriage, respectively, in the Code of Canon Law and the Code of Canons of the Eastern Churches.
I highly suspect For one, you can say goodbye to the requirement of appeal on a grant of nullity. If that happens, that would be a bad thing. This September just keeps getting scarier.
