Have you ever watched a nation commit suicide before?

[TimesOnline] ISLAMIC law has been officially adopted in Britain, with sharia courts given powers to rule on Muslim civil cases.

The government has quietly sanctioned the powers for sharia judges to rule on cases ranging from divorce and financial disputes to those involving domestic violence.

Rulings issued by a network of five sharia courts are enforceable with the full power of the judicial system, through the county courts or High Court.

Previously, the rulings of sharia courts in Britain could not be enforced, and depended on voluntary compliance among Muslims.

It has now emerged that sharia courts with these powers have been set up in London, Birmingham, Bradford and Manchester with the network’s headquarters in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. Two more courts are being planned for Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The crazies in the UK wring their hands and hold hearings about whether there is too much Catholicism in Catholic schools. They steadfastly resist removing the 1701 Act of Settlement, which allows the heir to the throne to marry a member of any religion except Roman Catholicism. But when sharia courts have the full sanction of law, not a peep.

Listen to me. There is one thing and one thing only that can save the UK and the rest of Europe from this passive act of suicide. A thorough Christian revival. Specifically, a Catholic revival. Europe must and will return to its Christian roots in order to be saved. But they are not ready yet. More needs to happen to convince the convincable that the root of the looming disaster is their rejection of Jesus and his Church.

They will realize it in time, but only after pain and suffering like they have never seen before (and that is saying something.) I believe that they will turn back, eventually. Once they begin to believe that God has allowed them their own contrary wills and they will all surely die, then they will finally seek Him whom they have rejected.

The UK and Europe are sowing the seeds of their own destruction. Unfortunately the symptoms of the disease have yet to be painful enough for them to seek the cure. That will likely change.

Pray that their fate will not be ours.
