One thing you never want to do is leave the Pope hanging.
Check out this video of the Pope offering his hand for a shake to Bishops on a greeting line. Bishop after Bishop let the Pope pass by without shaking his hand. One or two may have missed it, but this seems a little fishy to me.

The Creator intended for Mary from the beginning, the decisive role of crushing with his humility, purity and obedience, the head of the serpent of evil.

They were all his mates. There's nothing in it.
"The men who don’t shake the Pope’s hand are close collaborators and his friends. For example, you see Card. Brandmüller, a good friend of the Pope. There is Bp. Josef Clemens, the Pope’s former personal secretary and now Secretary of the Pontifical Council for Laity. There is Msgr. Guido Marini and the rest of the papal MCs. On the other hand, Card. Kasper did move to shake the Pope’s robotically outstretched hand. So does the Archbp. Woelki of Berlin, who doesn’t see the Pope all the time and who hasn’t been a close collaborator."

It's obvious the pope is just introducing the guy in front of him to his fellow bishops.

Father Z explains it well…I have to agree with his take on it. It is much to easy to read into things these days…Let's not start, yet another scandal by thinking that the Bishops that are closest to our Beloved Pope are "snubbing him"…Please…God Bless

I agree with all of the above posts and Father Z's explanations of that event. I agree with Pax Christi who said lets not try starting scandals by "people's" misunderstanding of the people around the Pope. Even yesterday I saw a blog from a affiliated site claiming the Pope is planning to resign on his 85th birthday. It came from the pope's brother but he was not correct about 2006 being the last visit to Germany. You cannot believe everything you may see or hear because somebody posts something. PLEASE BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT ANY KIND OF RUMORS!
