The UK Telegraph reports a comment from Hillary Clinton that is completely uncontroversial:
Talking in general terms at the Clinton Global Initiative, Ms Clinton insisted: “There are rich people everywhere and yet they do not contribute to the growth of their own countries. They don’t invest in public schools, in public hospitals, in other kinds of development internally,” she told the aid foundation set up by her husband, former Democratic president Bill Clinton.
Imagine for a second if Romney had said this about say…the poor, how would that go over?
Why is this ok for a government official to attack an entire class as not helping others?

He sorta did with that 47% remark. Also the rich and super rich may be a minority but they wield more power then all other classes even more then the middle classes which historically wielded the power thus they must be subject to harsher criticism. Even as a middle class citizen I contribute to my nation even though I don't have the disposable income I still give lots of time to charity. These super wealthy persons only "give" a small amount as a means to avoid taxes and do not give any more then that then when we question their philanthropic nature they say "oh well I donated 1 million to fighting cancer" as though what would amount to a 5$ bill to you for them is a big donation. If I handed you 5$ out of the blue would you laud me as some great philanthropic giant? That is essentially what these wealthy individuals are demanding we do. Then also they refuse to invest in America supposedly we are cutting taxes on them so they spend money to make jobs. It hasn't happened these people aren't investing and when they do they're investing in China.
