Epically fails.
Obama was on a roll pushing for immigration reform and citing the Bible reminding all that there was no room in the Inn for Joseph and Mary. Yeah, ’cause that means countries can’t have borders. But then Obama went one step too far.
Obama said this:
“I think the good book says don’t throw stones in glass houses” Obama says. #um

The quote was originally from Chaucer and later Benjamin Franklin, not the Bible. Now, one could argue that Jesus did talk about throwing stones but was most definitely silent on glass houses.
The thing is, I have to wonder if he went off teleprompter or if this little aside actually got past the editing process. The latter would mean that there’s no one in the White House who even questioned this. That’s a little disconcerting.
